The kittens definitely took over the set this morning at WFMZ We did want to highlight some of our upcoming events including Pipes 4 Paws Charity Motorcycle Ride to Help Abused Dogs & Animals which is coming up on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The ride starts at Becky's Drive In and will end at Thunderhead Lodge where we will have kittens and adoptable dogs.

Meet Ramsey.
Ramsey was originally found abandoned locally. We estimated her date of birth to be around the beginning of April 2023. She was adopted out with her sister, Rascal, and sadly both were returned over two years later due to no fault of their own. Ramsey is very friendly and outgoing. Her sister has since been adopted, but Ramsey is still looking for her forever home. She likes to be petted but does get a little over stimulated at times so may not be so good for little kids. She wants to be with you and will follow you around. Ram has been in foster with kittens and does ok with them but is bossy with them. She would do well as an only cat for someone. Ramsey is spayed, up to date with vaccines for her age and microchipped. She is Feluk/fiv and litterbox trained. Meet Halle - We don’t now much about Halle’s past but found injured and alone, it must not have been a happy one. With love and care from her foster, Halle healed and has flourished.

A few things about Halle -
✔️crate trained
✔️housebroken
✔️loves walks
✔️will do anything for a treat
✔️very friendly and affectionate

Halle is a 7 month old, 38 lb pit mix/bull terrier (best guess- we have no history) who came in to rescue suffering from a serious soft tissue injury to her back. She was found dragging her back legs and with rest, she has recovered beautifully! She has a little wobble and bunny hops sometimes but is doing great and she runs and plays hard with other dogs who have similar play style (see video). She loves all the people and kids she meets and has been with her foster’s young grandkids often. She walks well on leash but working on not pulling. She likes other dogs she meets- but she is assertive and does NOT read their cues. She is currently fostered with 3 pit bulls. She came to us quite thin and is very food motivated which is great for training! She has absolutely no problem with people near her food, treats or anything of value. She is on the submissive side with people. She listens and takes corrections very well. She would thrive in a home with pit experience.

Happy to announce several adoptions. May the live happily furever in their new pawsome homes. Adopted were: ROMULUS (bc puppy), LUCY (kitten), PETEY (kitten), BEAN (puppy), TIM, TUX, & TABITHA (all 3 kittens together), ARIELLE (Bernadoodle), MERLIN (kitten) and GEMINI & GARFIELD (2 kittens together).

Meet Kate -
Kate is a calm, quiet, and incredibly sweet tricolor 8-year-old English Bulldog weighing 46 lbs. For her entire life, this beautiful lady was valued for what she could produce. She had litter after litter, receiving little of the love and comfort that every dog deserves. She never got the chance to simply be someone's beloved companion. Now, she is finally free—and looking for the family she has waited her whole life to find.
This gorgeous girl is happiest when she’s curled up near her favorite person. She’s got stunning markings, a glossy black coat, chunky baseball-sized feet, and a face that will melt your heart. She can be a little shy when meeting new people; but once she has your trust, she’ll be your potato-shaped shadow. Kate is crate-trained, doing great with housetraining, and loves kids of all ages. She mostly ignores dogs and cats, shows no toy or food aggression, and is about as low maintenance as they come. She sleeps through the night in her crate (snoring like a chainsaw with absolutely no regard for the neighbors), walks well on a leash, and — thanks to her laid-back and endearing presence -– collects admirers wherever she goes. She can be a little shy at first, but beneath her cautious nature is a loving soul who wants nothing more than a soft place to rest and a family to call her own.

Get your 2027 Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue Farm calendar! Did you know in addition to our dogs and cats in foster homes, we have over 30 pot belly pigs, Nemo the big pig, cows, horses, goats and sheep at the farm. Some are with us in sanctuary and others like most of our pot belly pigs are available for adoption. Our wonderful farm volunteers take lots of pictures of all the animals they help care for at the farm and created a calendar for 2027 where all proceeds will go to help feed and care for the farm animals. You get a chance to see how much personality and love all the farm animals have to share. We are taking pre-orders for calendars now so we have enough to go around. You can choose to pick up in the office or have shipped to your home for an additional cost. Price is $10.60 per calendar for pickup including tax. $20 to ship includes tax and shipping. Calendars will arrive by October 10, 2026.
