"Patsy Cline” was born mid Nov. 2025 in the woods to a feral momma. She was the runt of the litter, now at 6 months weighs 24 lbs.
She survived the winter, but we believe she was hit by a car. After being injured for weeks we finally caught her in a live trap in early April. Poor girl had two broken legs! Her right front leg required splinting for weeks (all healed now) and right back leg required surgery to put a plate and screws. As you can see in the video, she has progressed wonderfully! She just got the all clear to walk and play a bit, but still isn’t quite ready to be around other dogs that could “accidentally” re-injure her back leg. It needs a bit more healing time. She is kennel trained and potty trained. She has never had an accident in the house. We carry her outside to a small pen 3 times a day to potty. When done, she comes right back wanting to be picked up and taken inside. She much prefers the comfort of home to being in the woods! She goes in her kennel at night and never barks. Her feet and head are tiny so I don’t think she will be a big dog. She gets along well with my other 7 dogs. Truth be told- she’s a toy hog, she wants all the toys!! 😉
She’s fully vaccinated, has spay appointment next month and is on heartworm preventative. She has the best personality and deserves to be spoiled 💕.
Please help find her a great home!!"
