Hey folks! I know this is last minute but I have some friends who are doing a winter coat and jigsaw puzzle donation drive for some needy families up North... where it's COLD! I have to ship out nectar Monday but if anyone brings me a donation before then (if you need to drop off during noon business hours, just let me know) of gently used winter wear... all ages... or puzzles... you will get 10% of of your next groom. I appreciate you all.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

There is a new, contagious respiratory illness showing in dogs nationwide. As of now, there is very little known about its cause (viral or bacterial), how it is transmitted or how to treat it. Some pets may show little to no symptoms and some may develop a dangerous case of pneumonia.

It has not yet become much of an issue in this area but it could at any time. So we are asking for your help. We are asking that if your pet is showing ANY signs of illness you reschedule your appointment. You will not be charged any last minute cancelation fee if you are doing so for this reason, as long as you communicate with us. We understand that rescheduling can be difficult or inconvenient especially during the holidays but the health of all the pets we service is far more important than a haircut or bath. We are careful to not allow dog to dog contact and use the best disinfectants we can get between pets. If we all do our part, we can ensure that all of our 4 legged friends can have a safe, healthy holiday season.

Than you in advance for your cooperation.

A mystery respiratory dog illness is spreading and sickening dogs in several states.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? Watch your dog for trouble breathing, coughing, fever, sneezing, lethargy, nasal and eye discharge. If you see symptoms – isolate your pet from any other dogs at home and contact us right away. Keep your dog isolated until we can assess your pet and treatment can be provided.

HOW CAN YOU PROTECT YOUR PET? Make sure your dog is up to date on vaccinations. If your dog is not, contact us today for a vaccine appointment. Multiple vaccines are available to protect your dog against this type of infectious disease, so please make an appointment to ensure your dog is up to date on the vaccines that are correct for their lifestyle.

Important announcement

Thank you all for being such wonderful clients these past 2 years and thank you for all of the wonderful referrals! We are now booked over 6 weeks out so at this time we have had to make the decision to close our books to new clients so that we can take care of our loyal, current clientele. I would also recommend rebooking your next appointment at time of pickup, if you don't already. Thank you so much for getting us to this point!

It's been a while since we've had one this dramatic. Willow was such a good puppy!
