We had lots of fun here at the farm when Emma and her family and friends came to visit the horses last week! The kids were all in for working with the horses and all did a fantastic job! We left the horses to finish their lunch and headed down for a magical trip through the fairy trail. It was hard for them to choose their favorite activity, so we consider that a big win! The kids had this joke to share with us. What do you call a flying monkey? A hot air baboon!!! šŸ™ˆšŸ¤£

Recently Peter and his brothers Danny and Charlie visited us at the farm during their vacation week at Tommy's Place! Peter and Charlie worked with Captiva, and for such a little guy, Charlie was in there like a little cowboy! Peter took Captiva through the obstacle course with confidence and skill. Danny preferred to keep his distance from the horses, but when we took out the horse cart for some "driving lessons", he was all in! Dad subbed in for the horse, and the boys were all smiles for the ride!
Thanks for visiting!

Last week we had a fun visit from Beckett and his twin sister Ailish, and their parents, aunt and uncle. Ailish worked with little Gillie, dressing Gillie as a Bumble Bee, and somehow managed to get those striped leggings on those tiny horse legs all by herself! Beckett spared Hot Rod from wearing the fairy costume and decked Hot Rod out in true Halloween fashion. They both demonstrated skill and confidence handling the horses through the obstacle course, and the fairy trail was definitely a hit! These two sweet, kind hearted kids encountered a little wooly caterpillar on the road as we walked back from the trail, and jointly decided to carefully lift it out of harms way and placed it in the grass. 🄰
Beckett shared this joke with us. Why did the cow cross the road? To get to the mooovies! And Ailish shared a popular joke we had recently heard. Why can’t you let Elsa hold your balloon? Because she’ll let it go!! šŸ˜†

Tuesdays are for Tommy's Place here at The Wishing Well Farm, and last week Hadley and her sister Cameron and their family had some fun with the minis! They chose to work with sweet Captiva and Hot Rod, who once again was a really good sport for letting us dress him up in a pastel tutu and a unicorn horn!! Both girls displayed an impressive amount of confidence and determination while working with the horses. There were lots of smiles and hugs and kisses too. The girls left us with this joke to share with our next visitors. Why can’t you give Elsa a balloon? Because she’ll let it go!! šŸŽ¶šŸŽµšŸ˜†

We had the pleasure of meeting Arsenia and her three sisters recently during their vacation week at Tommy's Place. Arsenia chose to work with little Gillie, a perfect match—both small in size but big in personality! Bella chose our kind and gentle Captiva, Blake made a perfect pick with one of the barn favorites, Hot Rod, while Sofia took it all in from the comfort of her carriage and her parents' arms. ā¤ļø And no visit is complete without a magical trip through the fairy trail! The girls shared this joke with us: Why don't eggs tell each other jokes? Because they'd crack each other up!!

We recently met Gabriel and his family during their vacation at Tommy's Place! Gabe and his dad worked with our most handsome and gentle boy, Hot Rod. Everyone had fun working with the horses and enjoying a magical trip through the fairy trail, followed by a tour of the all the car projects in the garage. Mila left us with this joke to pass along to our next visiting family. What did the astronaut say to his Captain? I need space!! šŸ˜†šŸ˜‚
Thanks so much for visiting, and please come see us again if you're in the area!

We are back in Florida once again, and the minis continue their work bringing smiles to the residents at local nursing facilities! Recently, Captiva and Hot Rod spent the morning at AdviniaCare at Naples. The residents learned about Miniature Horses, asked insightful questions, shared their own experiences and got to see the horses up close for pats!

It was a girl’s day out to meet the minis for Maui, her mom and aunt during their recent stay Tommy's Place. There’s always a little surprise in store when learning about the minis, whether it’s their size, personalities or how they interact with people and each other, and they are always sure to bring smiles! Everyone did a super job handling and grooming the horses. Maui had Hot Rod’s attention as he listened to his handler’s directions when lead through the obstacle course as seen in the video. Please come visit us again!
