✨The Golden Boy’s Golden Birthday✨
How is he 10?!
When it was only yesterday I was picking him up for the first time.
Where’d all the time go?
I blinked and he aged before my eyes
Grey hairs
Slow mornings
Shorter adventures
Slow and fast, the years went by
While I desperately just want to stop time.
I don’t remember life before Deegan,
It feels like a black & white movie
And all of a sudden he brought color into my life
He brought purpose to my life
And friendship
And adventure
And so much love.
Even though grief overwhelms me as the years go,
I am entirely grateful for the years I get to share with him
This beautiful boy has changed my life entirely for the better 🩷
