Granny and Wrinkles are lab mixes, Granny is two years old and Wrinkles is a year. Their owner passed away and family cannot take them and are desperately looking for a place as they have until tomorrow or they will be in jeopardy of loosing their lease. They have called the Humane Society but they can’t take them, located in St Francis. Please call Kelly 763-898-7048 or Theresa 763-200-3541. Please share!!

This post is to any ‘hater’ or severely misinformed persons that listen to one side of any post out there…. Especially to my obsessed stalker, you know who you are!

Animal Control, I take that back… MY contracts with Animal Control have got to be the most thankless jobs out there. I do not know any other profession or even Animal Control other than mine where you’re expected to work for free. Where anyone can post complete untruths about you and there are people that just automatically believe them, never calling me, messaging… just believe and start their own form of hate, harassment and bullying.

So to those haters… go get licensed and apply for this job, do it… but do it the correct way. Instead of bashing and bullying and harassing and hate…go get set up and you open your doors and life to this. Get a kennel area ready, get inspected by the Board of Animal Health, get insurance… build a resume and be prepared to work 24/7 with little pay and a ton of hate coming your way.

If you want all the dogs to go to the Humane Society instead? The cost in many cases is even more, East Bethel use to pay me $3000 a year ( yes a YEAR ) to do AC and that was with picking everything up. Now that price for the Humane Society is over double that and the dogs have to be picked up by law enforcement… so several times we no longer have our contracted Deputy in our City. And that isn’t mentioning the dogs that are euthanized. I’m not bashing on the Humane Society… they do what they have to do.

So again, go get set up and apply for those contracts honestly instead of all the hate. I will continue to do the fantastic job that I have always done, I will also continue to block and delete any hate on my page…

Update: Autumn was surrendered to us today. The paperwork says she is a 10 year old boxer but clearly she must be a boxer mix. She gets along with the dogs here and is definitely crate trained. She is FREE to a rescue or can be adopted thru Gratitude Farms for part of her Impound fee. Best way to schedule a time to meet her in East Bethel is to text or call 763.331.2275.

This post is for everyone who has gotten a dog, puppy, kitten, horse, rabbit, bird, chicken or… am I missing something? I did miss some… goats!! And now that I think about it we placed a few pot bellied pigs as well!

I want to see those pictures, tell us its name and anything else you’d like to tell us. 😊I want this to be a positive post so please no negativity…we’ve been around a while.

Gratitude Farms Animal Control

Serving the Cities of East Bethel, Ham Lake, Linwood, Bethel, North Branch, Isanti and Cambridge

We have a busy but flexible schedule so we are open by appointment ONLY. If you can not make your scheduled time please call or text. 763.331.2275

If an animal is picked up by the Animal Control Officer or the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and impounded at Gratitude Farms location at 22359 Bataan St., East Bethel, MN 55011, the owner has five (5) business days to claim the animal. In this instance and as Gratitude Farms is available on a daily basis, business days and calendar days are one and the same. If the animal is unclaimed after this time, the animal becomes the property of the Animal Control Officer and will be donated to a recognized animal rescue organization or adopted directly by the Contractor to any private party at their discretion. No animals impounded as part of this Contract may be euthanized, except in the case where the animal’s welfare and quality of life are adversely affected and at the written advice of a veterinarian licensed in the State of Minnesota.
