Welcome to Barks & Recreation's page. My name is Samantha and I'm expanding onto Facebook after working on Rover for over a year in hopes of expanding my client base and staying connected with past clients. We are located in East Alton, Illinois.
I have been studying canine behaviour and working with dogs since 2010. Their safety and well being will always be my TOP priority. I never let the dogs play outside alone. I am outside with them the entire time monitoring playtime. That also helps exercise them as we play countless rounds of fetch, one on one play etc. I also always separate during meal time and allow them to have 30-45 minutes for their food to settle before reintroducing toys.
I have aquired and made countless mental stimulation toys for dogs (puzzles, snuffle mats, licki mats, hide and seek toys) in order to keep your dog mentally and physically busy!
I worked at a boarding facility, vet clinic, and a grooming salon so I am very well rounded with my knowkedge of dogs. I am home *FULL TIME* so they are never left alone. I welcome and love ALL breeds of dogs.
I have a very large fenced yard! I would LOVE to take your dog to the dog park, on long walks, or just have fun at home with all of our outside toys and activities.
I have two Standard Poodles. They both LOVE to keep dogs occupied! If your dogs are nervous around other dogs, that's fine! Our house is set up nicely to accommodate that! We have more toys than your dog could ever need. I promise your dog will be treated like royalty and will have a fun filled vacation with me. You will get daily updates with pictures/videos!
