A snooze only a happy puppy can have.

Pickles took cuteness to the next level during her recent visit with us. After a thorough check-up, Pickles felt so comfortable in our care that she decided a belly-up nap was in order--right in the middle of the exam room! 😁✨💚

Just a few months old and Pickles is already a pro at spreading smiles (and catching Zzz's). 💤 We're glad to help her get off to a healthy start, including her first puppy vaccines, parasite prevention, and a plan to keep her growing strong.

Maximilian enjoying his post-op recovery in true "cat burrito" fashion. 😸

He came in for his neuter surgery and did fantastic under the care of his surgical team! After a smooth procedure and laser therapy, he was all snuggled up and wrapped cozily to maintain his temperature and sense of safety. Comfort is always a top priority after a surgery -- look how relaxed! 💙💚

Happy to report his mom said he is doing great and already back to his playful self. 👍🏼

After coming in for a persistent left rear leg lameness, Samson has made an amazing comeback. ✨ Following a comprehensive workup by Dr. Eaves, including digital radiography, pain management, and laser therapy, Samson is now back to doing what he loves most: riding jet skis and enjoying lake days. 🌊🚤

Say hello to Duke! 🐾 This sweet, big headed boy has been facing a tough battle with severe skin issues with us here at Southern Trail. With generalized dermatitis, painful pododermatitis, and secondary skin infections, he was constantly itching and uncomfortable. 😞

It was time to make a change to his treatment so Dr. Eaves added a different regiment of medications, specifically Cyclosporine. We monitored Duke with this adjustment to treatment. 🩺

Look at his progress and change! Duke's itching has reduced, his energy is back, and his coat is shining. We are thrilled to see Duke feeling better and leading a joyful, healthy, and itch free life! 💙

A huge thank you to Duke and his mom for trusting us with his care! Continue to shine Duke! ✨

Don't let the Fourth of July fireworks spook your furry friends! 🐾 Now is the time to plan ahead and get your pet's anti-anxiety medications refilled. 💊

Here are a few options commonly used for noise aversion:

•Sileo Gel: The first FDA approved treatment for noise aversion in dogs, this oral gel helps manage fear and anxiety related to loud noises like fireworks or thunderstorms.

•Trazodone: Used to help control anxiety and provide mild sedation in dogs, this medication can be helpful for noise phobies and other stressful events

•Gabapentin: While often used for pain management, it can also provide relaxation and sedation for anxiety for dogs and cats
