In November we shared that Fawn was getting a new prosthetic brace. The first one didn’t fit well, so our team ended up recasting Fawn’s leg and shipping that cast to Derrick Campana of who built the new brace and overnighted it back to us. It fit perfectly, but the crutch was too long. Our maintenance team shortened it and it is now fitting Fawn just right — and y’all, she loves it. She complains when it’s time to take it off! Fawn looks like a rock star super hero (especially wearing that pink star print!) and after all she’s been through, she REALLY is one. Wouldn’t it be neat if there was a comic book about her? 🤔🤔 We love you so much Fawn, you are a true inspiration❤️
