It was a hot day in July of 2016 I was visiting family in North Carolina. While out on an afternoon walk we stopped at a neighbors house who seemed to be the place people left their kitties.
As I say this must have been met to be, well you came over to me and I truly believe you chose me to be your forever cat dad that day. Well as fate would have it I had to leave and couldn’t take you with me.
For an entire week I couldn’t do anything except think about you. It was Friday and I found myself driving back to North Carolina to get you.
After a visit to the vet and a clean bill of health we were on our way home back to Pennsylvania. You cried and carried on for a shot time so I opened your carrier and you positioned yourself on my lap and you had the loudest purr and were one happy kitty.
When we got home you hid for a week under the couch. You only came out to eat drink and use the litter box. Thankfully that didn’t last to long and you were out exploring and meeting your new brothers and sisters.
You quickly established that you being the.smallest kitty in the house you were the boss. You maintained your rule for the next 10 years.
March 2026 I noticed you were loosing weight but still got around doing everything you always did. On Saturday you stopped eating and drinking. I got you an appointment to see the doctor on Monday.
That appointment was the worst day. They found you had a large mass in your belly that was pressing on your organs.
I called my wife who arrived a short time later, After we were given our options we had to make the most painful decision to let you go so you could be with your brothers and sisters.
Daddy loves you so much I believe with my heart and soul I will see you again at the rainbow bridge
Rest in peace my sweet baby girl forever all my love❤️
