43+ Cats and Kittens Rescued In Eagle Just Before Thanksgiving
If you live in our Eagle community, it’s impossible to drive along Hwy 44 just west of 55 without noticing the old “Eagle Park” mobile home park tucked just behind the “Welcome to Eagle” sign.
It had been the source of much debate over the years, but as of October 1st, demolition has begun making way for future development.
The tenants have moved on, but many cats and kittens were left behind.
Although Eagle Community Cats has worked tirelessly over the years to spay and neuter the majority of the cats in the park, there were still many that were left neglected and abandoned by former residents in the wake of the destruction.
In the past month, we have rescued over 40 cats and kittens from this site. And we are still counting. Our efforts will continue through the winter rescuing, fixing, and fostering to ensure that every cat has a better life in the future and not one cat is left behind.
This Tuesday is “Giving Tuesday”, please consider supporting the care of these cats and kittens with Eagle Community Cats.
