My shoulder is starting to feel a lithle better and want to start off slow and see how this goes. I will start taking some appointments next week for small and toy breeds only (dogs under 20 lbs)
Must have:
🐾Distemper/Parvo Vaccine
🐾Rabies Vaccine
🐾Bordetella (kennel cough) Vaccine

Proof of vaccination for your dog you want groomed is required before making appointment.

Also, I work one-on-one and at the moment, one at a time until further notice ( no multiple dogs) so you need to be available to pick up immediately after dog is ready. I have no available space to let them wait until I am totally set up.

Small breed dogs — including dachshunds and French bulldogs — have a high risk of developing a herniated disc in their middle back, which can lead to partial or complete paralysis in the hindlegs. Until recently, the only treatment for dogs that do not respond to rest and therapy has been a costly decompressive surgery that involves removing the herniated disc.

Now, thanks to a new treatment developed by Texas A&M University professor Dr. Nick Jeffery, more dog owners will be able to afford treatment for herniated discs, which affects hundreds of thousands of dogs in the United States alone.

Two weeks ago, a citizen reported a potential exposure to a bat. The specimen was sent to the Rabies Laboratory at DSHS in Austin, TX, where it tested positive for rabies. This bat was found within the City of Del Rio limits. 🦇

👉🏼We want to remind our community of the importance of taking precautions to reduce the risk of rabies transmission:
-Ensure your pets’ rabies vaccinations are up to date — contact your veterinarian today.
-Do not touch, approach, or pick up wild or stray animals.
-Closely monitor pets that may have had contact with wild animals.

If bitten or scratched, immediately wash the wound with soap and water, contact your healthcare provider, and call Del Rio Animal Services at 830-774-8628.🦨
