I am a firm believer that one's energy is put into their work, so when I am feeling the loss of my pup, I pick up Briar Rose from Hooked on Sunshine and do some stitches. I'm using Lion Brand Cupcake yarn in Sea Breeze. I do cut the funky reddish color out because it just throws the color scheme off for me. This is a nice, repetitive pattern.

It's been a while since I have touched this page. My best friend, my beautiful T'akaya, became very ill and went downhill very fast. We lost her August 1st from end stage diabetes. She had spent many years struggling with Diabetes and Cushing's disease, as her previous vet had misdiagnosed her as epileptic. So I'd like to take a moment before getting back into the crafting swing of things to ask all of you with special 4-legged loved ones... get blood tests done annually. If you can't afford annually, every 2 years. Demand to see the results. Don't let them just tell you "everything checks out."

Working on a bag to house. WIP in for when I am out and about. I have so many, it's just insane.
This bag is the Malia Shoulder Bag, pattern by Yarn & Chai (I will post the link in the first comment). I am using Caron Cotton Cakes. I woopsied the first round of large bean stitches by forgetting to turn my work. Oh well. It gives it character.
