Krueger Cattle Company LLC began on a small farm in Eagle Creek OR.

Now we rent land in the Corvallis area and raise registered Polled Herefords for show stock and market beef.

Wow where has the time gone. May was a little crazy and I realized I never posted about of last spring calf! Spruce was born on 5/1! He’s the only black baldie on the farm this year and he sure is a cutie. I decided to breed his mom Angus last summer because crossbreed breedings have higher conception rates and I really wanted to get this cow pregnant before my wedding and I guess it’s stuck!! Happy to be done calving until our fall calves in late August.

Disco kept us waiting 7 long days past her due date for her first purebred Hereford calf. Her story regarding why she’s never had a Hereford is long and drawn out and for another day. Last night around 6:30pm Disco had separated herself from the herd and I knew it was finally time. By 10pm she had calved a beautiful baby GIRL!!!! I’m ecstatic to finally have a heifer from her that is purebred Hereford!! This girl is big, weighing in at 92lbs she’s a clumsy giant. WELCOME TO THE WORLD WILLOW ❤️❤️❤️

The reality of Easter on the farm is doing cow work all morning, moving a couple heifers to the neighbors to be my horses companions and breeding 3 cows, 1 right before bunch. Yes I’m in sweatpants. Yes I woke up at 6am this morning. No real farmers don’t get fancy before they work cows. This is real raw footage. HAPPY EASTER!

Welcome FINALLY, beautiful little Oak!! Honey was five days late and I was sure it was going to be a bull but surprise she had a heifer!! Oak is Purebred Hereford and originates from my first cow Jewel, she is the 7th generation! I CANNOT wait to watch her grow up.

Baby 5 is here! And I AM IN LOVE with this calf. I bred Jasmine to a Red Roan Shorthorn and this beautiful calf is the result! Of course he’s a bull but he’s going to make a killer market steer. I know what I’m breeding more of next year!!!! Welcome Juniper. 💕

I’m so excited to introduce you to our fourth calf of the year and our first heifer!! Can you tell by my smile I’m excited we finally have a girl? We named her Madrone after another one of my favorite trees. A special royal sounding name for our token girl. Madrone is half Hereford half Charolais. She looks just like a Hereford but a touch lighter. I wonder if she’ll lighten up as she get older!

Our next calf has arrived!! On Wednesday morning I went out to check the herd and Bunny surprised me with this adorable bull! We named him Birch! Now why does he look so weird with a skunk tail one might ask? Well he is half Charolais, and apparently Birch’s dad has been producing calves with a red hide and a skunk tail. I was expecting a blonde calf and I literally thought I was crazy when I first saw him. But isn’t he the cutest and the most unique little guy you’ve ever seen?!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY from our farm to you! Our 2nd calf Redwood and his mom Clover got to join the herd this afternoon! We are so blessed and love these cows so much! Tonight we are enjoying a night at home with the best tenderloin steak from home grown beef.

Happy Snow Day from the herd! Snow on the back means warm insulated happy cows!! Even Filbert was out and about. Everyone is looking good and they are all enjoying breakfast.

We got our big boy tagged, banded, and vaccinated tonight. This year’s name theme is PNW trees. So I’d like to introduce you all to Filbert the first of eleven due on the farm! We ran out of light quick tonight. I’ll get some more pictures soon. 😍
