It's truly a gift when we get to see Mr. Chevy!! He's so squishy!! He came in today for his Comprehensive Exam and nail trim, which he did phenomenally well for!! We love caring for and watching your pets grow just as much as you! We've been privileged to see Chevy regularly since his new friend exam in 2023!

Remy visited us for his annual dental cleaning and comprehensive exam, and he was an absolute superstar! He earned plenty of extra snuggles - who could resist that adorable face? Remy also received a full 5 minutes of pre-oxygenation before his dental cleaning, a crucial safety measure that minimizes the risk of hypoxemia during anesthesia by boosting oxygen reserves in the lungs and giving our veterinary staff time to address any potential complications.

Your vet will likely recommend dental X-rays at their first dental cleaning if teeth are missing. Some teeth are simply not present or didn't develop, but there is a risk for teeth to be impacted instead. In this case a cyst began to form around the impacted tooth, affecting the teeth around it as well. If this isn't addressed, it has the potential to affect the jaw long term!
