We had fun at Brownland Farm last week during the Nashville Country show 😃. The atmosphere for the horses and the hospitality at Brownland are truly remarkable. We were all well-fed and happy 🥰. Congratulations Lilly and Brianna on a great job in the adult hunters 🌟🌟! I can’t wait to do it all again soon!

We had a great time at Memphis in May II in Germantown last week. It was really fun taking some of our horses who have been working hard at home but have not had time in the show ring lately. Congratulations to Rebekah on a fantastic first rated show experience with her horse Valentino! They were reserve champion in both the crossrails equitation and crossrails hunter divisions and won a class each day. Congratulations to Tracey on a wonderful show for her horse En Route LF! I showed him and he was clear and blue ribboned in all four of his table II jumper classes 💙. Looking forward to next time!

Congratulations to Rebekah, Pippa and Georgia on a fun and successful WTHJA schooling show last weekend. It was so much fun getting the new horse and rider pairs into the show ring. Georgia helped teach our youngest rider the ropes, and made me very proud. Looking forward to more fun shows with this sweet crew 💕🌟🌟🌟🦄🦄

“While I have seen a round or two that stood out to me, I don’t feel that in my time as a judge I have necessarily seen the type of blockbuster round for which you are seeking feedback. That being said, I have seen rounds I’ve felt were exciting for a number of other reasons: I have gotten goosebumps watching an athletic, green horse measure a jump and use itself well; watching a talented pro make a gorgeous, well-balanced inside turn; and even watching a short stirrup rider put all the parts of a course together to create an excellent round in that division. Each opportunity to sit in the judge’s stand is a privilege. In time, I hope to be lucky enough to have the honor of watching rounds that will go down in history. We had so much fun at the WTHJA shows in Germantown earlier this month! We started with the schooling show where Tracey and Nixon were stars! Next we did the rated shows for two weeks. Lots of good ribbons, lots of great company, and so many happy memories (and brownies)!!! Showing is the most fun when we can share it with awesome people and horses (and one very special dog)! Y’all are the best and you make me so proud 🥰
