New gilts don't seem to mind the early winter weather as they can spend hours foraging in a recently harvested corn field. There are all sorts of goodies to be had, including kernels of corn we missed when harvesting.

Had a great time in Denmark recently and was admiring the organic pigs at my new friend Randi Vinfeldt's farm on Zealand near Copenhagen. She is doing a great job helping promote organic agriculture in Denmark.
