If you’re lucky to meet him while he’s on site, than your day will only shine brighter… Jameson is back!! I can’t thank you enough for being the best assistant! This week he has been non stop with helping me at the studio for assistant grooms, pup cuddles and walks, and helped wrap up my painted door project WOW! We have had an accomplishing week; I am beyond fortunate to have your support and time Jameson. . . And the pups are all lucky to have you as a friend, too!! Can’t wait for next week. 🤩

Last week I had the honor of judging the Kankakee County 4H dog show. Though we had a smaller group of 6 dogs, this was the BEST trained group I felt being presented with the kids. It’s our part as dog fanciers to encourage and build passions for dog sports and care with the youth. Besides watching our sports grow we can see healthier kids growing up as they learn to not only care for their pets but develop their own skills. Full circle!! Let’s all do our part and help our youth!

• Grooming Schedule Notice • Please try to call/text me a 2-4 week notice for all grooming needs. Bookings are going well, and I am continuing to take new pups, too. Grooms from wash+wear, desheds, to doodle dogs! Even the pups who have been denied at other facilities are welcome to visit. 🐶 💕

This is a tail-wagger! 🐕 FaceTimed with Poppy today for her second, complementary integration session after her one month Training Camp (board and train). No more leash pulling while walking, comes when called, special awareness and respect to people, a stronger bond with her mom… that is just the tip of her continued success of learned habits. Miss you Poppy-Pop-Star! So proud of you and your family for not only maintaining but growing your training through K9 Connect Center’s specialized training program.

Training doesnt have to just be sit, stay, come… its about strengthening your fur baby’s connection to your life ••• Boats can be a tricky and tight space for a pup to negotiate their body around. Since working as a puppy, I was able to develop Sky’s confidence and ability to hop on and off his mom’s yacht while being patient with her entry/exit… now to learn how to jump to the upper deck of her friend’s vessel! We had an amazing first lesson and success. Now to gain more muscle through conditioning exercises to help with his form and function! Can’t wait for next session!

It was a 6 cat morning groom! Phew! Long haired cats need dedicated coat maintenance especially as they age and groom themselves less. These in-home cat grooms help them settle into the groom for an efficient time with as little fear possible. I love being at floor level to help these guys be comfortable 🐈‍⬛😻
