Our horse project has been working on cleaning up some donated tack for the upcoming tack sale to raise money for our club and the country program.

Join us on Oct 9th at Cherry Valley Elementary, 6:30 pm for our 1st meeting of the 2023-2024 4-H Year. We are focusing on the Horse and Goat projects this year. 4-H is open to ages 8-18 (as of Oct 1). Ages 5-7 can participate in learning but not handling or riding until they are 8.
We are open to members with or without horses or goats.
Come check us out.

Also - there is an Explore 4-H Event on Saturday, Oct 7th from 2:30-4:00 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe. Lots of clubs and projects will be represented. It's a great way to find out more about 4-H and all the ways to participate.

Hoofs and Paws 4-H club new year kickoff meeting is tomorrow, Monday Oct 17, 6:30 pm at Cherry Valley Elementary in the library. We have horse & poultry projects this year. Come check it out.

Come to Hoofs & Paws 1st meeting of the new 4-H Year on Tuesday Oct 12th at 6:30 pm at Cherry Valley Elementary in the gym.

4-H is open to youth ages 5-18. Hoofs & Paws is a multi-project club with Snohomish County 4-H. Besides our foundation projects (Horses & Dogs) we have current and former members in Poultry, Cats, Cavies, Goats, Alpacas/Llamas. We also have members in Arts/Crafts, Photography, Sewing, Gardening, Natural Resources & Fishing. If you don't see your favorite animal or activity listed, come anyway and let's talk.

We are also looking adult volunteers with knowledge to share.

Come learn about 4-H. This is put on by Snohomish County 4-H. Lots of projects and clubs will be represented and you can find out more about 4-H in general. (If you would like to attend the zoom meeting, message me for the link.)

Our local club, Hoofs & Paws, will have their first meeting on Oct 12th. Stay tuned for the time and location :)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful fair! I have some photos to share. Unfortunately, I am in Europe for work, so I had to miss fair this year, but thank you to all the parents who sent me photos. We have a lot of kids enjoying themselves our there, while a few of them are doing FFA as well as 4-H. We have FFA kids doing Alpacas & Llamas, Cows, and Plants. Fair be quite emotional as well as physically exhausting. We are all proud of the jobs you have been doing. If you have photos you want posted, send them to us.
