Herndon Hills Farm grows certified-organic blueberries, blackberries and muscadine grapes. We are part of Herndon Farm, a North Carolina Bicentennial Farm farmed by the Herndon family for more than 200 years. Muscadine grapes can keep several weeks in the refrigerator without losing their flavor. Now is the time to pick a big bag. We are mid-way through the season with easy picking of ripe, delicious grapes. Our hours this week are Wednesday (9-7), Friday (9-7), Saturday (8-5) and Sunday (10-5). Hope to see you soon!

The grapes just keep getting sweeter, and they were pretty darn sweet to begin with. This is one of our best crops ever! We have 10+ varieties of organic muscadine and scuppernong grapes. This week we are getting into our mid-season grapes, including Pam, Supreme, Fry and Ison's Black. We still have delicious Darlene. They are exceptional! We'll be open Friday 9 am - 7 pm, Saturday 8-5, Sunday 10-5. Hope to see you soon.

Our Story

We are a North Carolina Century Farm, farmed by the Herndon family for more than 200 years. To date approximately 80 acres of our farm are protected by a permanent conservation easement, meaning that the land can never be developed and will remain farmland in perpetuity.

While the area around us has changed from small farms to suburban families, we value being part of our evolving community. We are proud to serve our neighbors and other visitors by providing delicious, healthy fruit fresh from the vine. All our crops are pick-your-own, and all are USDA certified organic.
