Carefully supervised play can be a good way for puppies to develop their social skills with other dogs. It’s so interesting to watch!

Some dogs ‘resource guard’ things like food bowls or toys. There’s lots of weird advice on the internet about how to deal with it, so let’s look at the science!

This is a great summary of a research paper - DO drop tasty treats into the food bowl as you walk by, DON’T put your hands in your dog’s bowl or take the food away (yes, some people think this is ok 😩).

Help your puppy feel safe at mealtime!
