Announcement!

We wanted to take a minute to explain to everyone why Pit-A-Billy has been so very quiet lately and why we have to put Pit-A-Billy on hold for an undetermined amount of time. There will be no events this summer like we had originally planned because...we’re having a baby! We are due in December but have so much to accomplish before our little bundle arrives that we wouldn’t be able to run events the way Pit-A-Billy deserves. The time just isn’t available.

We put our non profit process on hold and will be donating the money we made from our last event to a TBD local rescue that supports our favorite breed!

So, someday you’ll hear from us again, but until then, thank you for all the support and love from both WA & CO. This little dream made it to as big as it was because of you guys and we will forever be grateful.

So...what’s next you ask?
1) We will be getting our 501c3 and will be learning the ins and outs of how it works and what we have to do to keep it running smoothly.
2) We are going to be reaching out to grant writers to help us start our funding process as well as finding local companies interested in sponsorships!
3) We are already planning our first annual Pit-A-Billy Car Show and choosing a local rescue to work with!

So Stay tuned y’all! We’re ready to hit the ground running!

♥️🐾What.A.Day! 🐾♥️
We are in awe of the outcome of our day and we couldn’t be more thrilled of our new community’s support!!! We started this as a small dream back in Seattle, our friends and family supported us every step of the way and we will always be thankful for their continuing faith in our dream. Without Our Seattle community Pit-A-Billy simply would not exist! Moving to Durango and building Pit-A-Billy in our forever home was another dream. Starting from scratch is a scary process but today gave us the driving force we needed! We needed $375 to apply for our 501c3 and we made $391!!!! Pretty soon here Pit-A-Billy will finally be an official NON-PROFIT! We are so excited to start growing and making connections so we can host the biggest and baddest car shows to raise money for our local animal rescues!
We owe so many thanks you’s because these events wouldn’t happen with out the help we are SO blessed to have!
Thank you to Ska Brewing for letting us take over your parking lot and hosting us! Thank you to Paige for her hard graphic design work on our posters! Thank you to Twisted Rebel for playing great music all day and for traveling from Bloomfield NM and donating your talents and skills! Huge thanks to Durango Family Photography for being our event photographer and his beautiful pin up models as well as Kiley & Ty from Doggy Style Grooming for setting up an awesome grooming booth! Thank you to all the companies and people who donated our raffle items, 81301 Carpet Cleaning and Floor Care, Pet Haus, Pine River Pet Care LLC, Day Owl Soap Co, Nectar of The Goddess, Rio Suave Vineyard, Doggy Style Grooming, Durango Family Photography,
Aaron, Kim & Todd @ Mallorie at Mill St., 4Corners Riversports! Thank you to our behind the scenes volunteers who helped us keep today going smoothly and our heads on straight- Justin, Kira, Jenny, JW, Cheyenne and all the SKA employees!
The biggest thank you goes to all our amazing supporters who brought their cars and bikes and spent their day with us. This is all for our favorite breed but we couldn’t do it without all of you. With all that said, here we go y’all! Non Profit Status...HERE WE COME!
