Durand-Arkansaw Dog Park

It’s been a while since we posted, but we wanted to make an update!

The Durand Dog park was approved on Monday by the Pepin County Land Conservation and Planning Department committee to build the park within Holden Park in Arkansaw. To honor this, we will be changing our name to the Durand-Arkansaw Dog Park. The park is currently being cleared of invasive species while leaving some beautiful oak, cherry, and other native trees for shade. The total size will be about 1.5 acres with hiking trails surrounding the area. We don’t have an official date for opening yet, but we are aiming for this fall. We are so grateful and thankful for everyone that has continued to support this journey 💕🐶 stay tuned for updates!

BARK BARK! WOOF WOOF! Come one come all and step on up, buy a raffle ticket for your chance to win some amazing baskets and more! Our annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt in conjunction with the Pepin County Humane Society is tomorrow from 11AM-1PM. There will be food, there will be treats, there will micro chipping, and of course there will be dogs! We hope to see you and your furry friend there!!!
