The heat is definitely turned up but I love my little farm so much!! It makes taking care of our babies so easy in this difficult weather !! Our two older retired girls have a small shady paddock and a fan In a run in to come and go as they please . The young ladies are in stalls and off grass for the day .Shh…we wont tell them they are a little chunky 🤣. The stalls have multiple fans, lots of airflow and easy access to say hello to each other! I strive for safety, health and the best individualized care for each horse in our program.

🐴 Grazing Muzzles Are NOT Mean—They’re Responsible! 💕

It’s that time of year again—lush spring grass is coming in, and for many horses, that means an increased risk of obesity, laminitis, and metabolic issues. Grazing muzzles are not cruel—they’re a tool to protect your horse’s health! 🛑🌿

Horses are designed to graze, not gorge. In the wild, they move all day, covering miles in search of forage. Domesticated horses often don’t have that luxury, and rich pastures can be too much for their systems. A grazing muzzle allows them to stay out, socialize, and eat slowly instead of being locked in a dry lot or stall. 🏞️🐎

If your horse is at risk, using a muzzle is an act of love—not punishment! ❤️ It prevents serious health issues while still allowing them to enjoy turnout. So, dust those muzzles off and keep your horses happy and healthy this season! ✅💛
