It is my honor to introduce you to Kristina, the new owner of Bark Avenue! Kristina has called Dunedin home since 1990 and she brings that hometown warmth and sunshine straight into Bark Avenue. A lifelong animal lover, she’s thrilled to be the new owner, greeting familiar faces, meeting new neighbors and sharing her days with every wagging tail that trots through the door! When she’s not at the shop, you’ll find her biking around town, enjoying Dunedin’s art & music scene, relaxing at the beach or being happily smothered by her 2 Bernedoodles, who are convinced they run the place! As a mom, wife and proud Dunedin local, she brings heart, humor and a genuine love for community to everything she does. At Bark Avenue, her mission is simple: make pets feel special, make people feel welcome and help Dunedin feel even more like home 🐾

Hi everyone, the time has come to share some important news with you. It is with a heavy heart I announce I am selling Bark Avenue. This decision wasn’t made lightly and by far one of the hardest decisions for me to accept but I know it’s the right one. I want to thank each and every one of you for all your continued support in the last 5 years. It has been a magical experience creating Bark Avenue in the most dog-friendly town we call “Dogedin”! The memories with the pups, getting to know all of you making personal connections, all the events we supported for rescues and all the laughs, these memories will stay with me forever. This business has meant more to me than I can express and I am grateful Bark Avenue will be here for the dogs, you and the community! I will miss Bark Avenue so much but I am excited to see what the future holds for me and my family! I will be relocating but I hope to visit Dunedin as much as the universe allows. I will be working through May 25th, except Wednesday from 2-6. I would love to see as many of you and your pups as possible. Stay tuned , soon I will introduce you to the new owner who ls very excited and has a business plan in mind to involve Bark Avenue in the community and do wonderful things!!

If you have a Yorkie and haven’t joined the Yorkies of Clearwater group, check them out. They are a lovely group of pups and people and had a really fun time today at their Ice cream social 🐾❤️ They even played games , which was a blast to watch 😊
