Being the daughter of a Saddle Maker you realize there are a few perks. However I never realized until well into my adult life that there were many secrets and tricks to the trade that nobody knew. When I found out "normal people" used rags and tooth brushes to clean their saddles and tack I was shocked. When I tried this method myself (after running out of my wool stash my Dad passed many years ago) it left me frustrated and spending way to much time trying to get my saddles clean. I'm still in disbelief that saddle Makers have kept this "dirty little secret " 😂 Now you can clean your saddles and leather products like professional saddle makers do. Saddle makers use wool to clean deep down into tooling and crevices with out damaging the leather. The wool also pulls the dirt out instead of spreading it around!!! 😲When trying to clean with a wash rag it leaves deep down dirt and many turn to harsh brushes that can scratch and damage their gear. Our leather products are an investment that can last a lifetime if properly cared for.
