What a day!! Finn's love for cold weather is insane, he had me out for almost an hour, now he wants in, nope not yet, I'm bringing out the big guns - my fur coat. The challenge is on. 🥰

🌟 DOG OF THE WEEK 🌟

Meet Athena! This beautiful girl is around 5 years old and is an Australian shepherd mix. She originally came to us around 3 years ago as a stray from the pound. She was adopted out pretty quickly and has been living happily in a home. She however started getting way too nervous with the toddler in the home and it was best that she come back to us and find a home with no young kids. Athena can be a little anxious at times and sometimes anxious dogs and small kids do not mix. Especially when they are tiny toddlers learning how to crawl and walk. Her owners were very upset having to bring her back, but they did what was best for Athena and their kids. She is good with other dogs and good with cats as well. She is a VERY smart girl and knows several commands like sit, shake, and heel. She enjoys playing ball and just relaxing with humans. We would love to get her into a new home as she is so sad being back here at the shelter. She is spayed, current on vaccines, negative for heartworm, and microchipped.
