If you saw our post yesterday. Buckle up.
Here is the ugly side of breeding no one wants to talk about. Yesterday we had the chance to bring home 5 beautiful babies and a healthy mom. Only for them to fade away just 2 hrs after being home. Now if you have known us and our program, we have had multiple unsuccessful litters but never one like yesterday. When something so pure gets taken from you, you are left with questions. Why me? Why now? But sometimes you don’t get the answers you are looking for and are just left with your jaw on the floor wondering how. This is the raw uncut side of breeding no one talks about. Bringing home beautiful babies and just hours later crying with a shovel in your hand. This is not a game, this is not a hobby for everyone. It’s not always cute puppies and easy whelping its sleepless nights and lots of heartache when things don’t pan out. It’s working your ass off when puppies don’t come to fruition. We still have our Camilla and we are so thankful for that.
