Hello everyone here’s a training session with my newest client who just adopted a two-year-old Doberman named Turk two days before. Turk came from one owner who was unable to keep him. When Tony brought him home to introduce him to his other dogs 4 dogs all male Turk was aggressive with one of the more submissive males. So to y was worried about the Introduction to his more alpha male Nico. So he gave me a call last night and asked me if I can help him. When I first met Turk today he was very nervous apprehensive barking and to be honest little scary. He didn’t come near me for at least the first 15 minutes is very hesitant so we took them on a walk and introduced him to Nico. The introduction went very well use the technique of parallel walk and redirection we had them walking right next to each other smelling each other friendly took about a half hour. I was very please with the first introduction we didn’t want to push So we brought Nico back in the house. Well the video you’re about to see is the transition turkey made within an hour of my first session I’m very proud of him he’s very smart and I think it’s going to go well. I wish I recorded when I first met him but he was a total different dog at the end. I’ll have more videos tomorrow night of the next introduction.

Well I’m very proud to say that Major Bentley on my left your right also with Denahi Has officially passed the third phase of his training today. I took both Of the boys to the Ridgewood dog Park for the first time together only major Bentleys second time, and he did excellent not a single growl snarl or lunge At any dogs or people that walk by!! I can’t tell you how proud I am of him he’s come a long way in three weeks! His training isn’t officially over now I have to train his owners my sister and brother-in-law that is the fourth and final stage to being a confident, comfortable, calm Dog on a walk congratulations major Bentley!!!

Major Bentley is in his third of four phases of his training. For those don’t know His first phase was human aggression on walks second phase human introduction on walks or lead, third phase which were currently in is dog aggression on walks or on lead. Seeing some minor progress on walks around town felt it was time to finally step it up so I brought them to a very busy dog park which allowed me to get lotta time with interaction and correction here’s a little video of how he did for those were curious I am very impressed by his progress and his training is almost completed. But the fourth and final phase is then teaching his parents the humans what I did and how I do it this way they can continue on with the good habits that I have gotten him in.
