Hi friends! Just something to be aware of if you travel Haines Rd to get to us. 😉

Haines Road will be closed between Anderson Road and Maple Grove Road beginning next week Tuesday, May 26.

The closure is expected to last through June 4. Residents will be able to access their homes during the closure, but no thru traffic will be allowed. Detours will be posted, directing traffic to use Anderson, Stebner and Maple Grove Roads.

The ticks are out in force! If you haven't yet, make sure to talk to your vet about the best flea and tick medication for your pup. We've pulled several off dogs the last couple weeks.

Hi friends, Robin here!

Many of you may already know, but I am currently taking a semi-hiatus from grooming dogs. I'm dealing with some health issues right now. Don't worry, I'm mostly ok, just not quite "operational". While I'm still around the shop and am taking a few appointments here and there, I did need to move the majority onto the schedules of our other groomers. Your appointment days/times have not changed, and if we do need to do that we will contact you.
This also means that my personal availability is EXTREMELY limited for the foreseeable future, but the other gals are here to help. Rest assured that all of your precious pups will still be receiving the safe and compassionate care I've built this business on. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out by phone or email. Thanks for your understanding and I hope to see you all soon!

Hi friends,

Over the past few weeks we've noticed an increase in the number of clients who have not been prepared to collect their dogs in a timely manner. As a reminder, we are a one-on-one, personal appointment salon. We do not have the facilities to kennel dogs for an extended period of time. Having extra dogs in the building often creates extra noise and distractions for both our staff and other client dogs. Additionally, we typically build in time to each appointment specifically for the checking in and out of dogs and having discussions with their humans. Picking up your dog late often interrupts another client's appointment.
Our service agreement clearly states that dogs must be picked up within 30 minutes of completion. We almost always give a 15 minute warning via text. In essence, you have 45 minutes to collect your dog, more than enough time to finish up any tasks you were in the middle of and travel to the salon from any part of town.
Our service agreement also states that late pick-ups will incur an extra fee of $1 per minute, per dog after 30 minutes. While we very rarely end up charging this fee, or reducing the amount significantly, we feel that we are forced to implement it across the board going forward. Repeated late pick-ups may result in refusal of future services.
If you know that you might have a schedule conflict, PLEASE just let us know. We may be able to accommodate your dog for extra time, or will reschedule to a time that works better for all of us.
Thank you for your understanding and patronage. We love our canine pals, and want to maintain an environment that is safe and as calm as possible for everyone.

That’s a wrap! Diva Dog is officially closed for the remainder of this year for Holiday Break. We will be back in the salon on Jan 5th 2026.
In the meantime you can find us in our jammies 😴
