Born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa, Katie has always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating from Iowa State University's veterinary school in 2013, she completed a year long internship at a large equine referral hospital in California. Katie will be returning to Dubuque in June 2014 to start another life long dream of becoming a business owner. It will prove to be an exciting year as s

he will also be getting married in October! Katie is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois so she is willing and able to cross state lines to take care of your horses and pets!

Our vet is AMAZING!!! Dr. Katie owns River Valley Veterinary Services & GoodLife Integrative Veterinary Care! She comes right to our house for all our pet care needs, which is especially helpful when we have puppies! She’s constantly improving her knowledge & vet skills, that it’s always fun for us to see what new adventure she’s on with her career!

She came today to give our 9 week old puppies their 2nd set of shots, talk about a puppy pile with these 5 still looking for homes!
