To say the last couple of weeks has been crazy would be an understatement... but we keep pushing. Working to get the last of the plants in, starting to plant round 2 of some of our crops, we have a good start on the prairie installation and our ISU Field Day on Monday. We will be at the Millwork Night Market this upcoming Thursday, but if you can't make it, we launched a harvest box option on our website. Go check it out at www.revfarm.farm

We're gonna bonfire tonight. If you're not doing anything and you'd like a fire , a cool little spot and good company, please feel free to join us! BYOB, a comfy chair, and have a seat. Been working hard all day getting chores done, fences mended, harvesting, and cleaning up brush so we need a little break. How about you? If you are reading this, you are invited. A bit of a late start but everything should be good and ready by 8 pm for s'mores making if that's your bag. It has been a long couple of days but we are almost ready to help you stock up for the holiday weekend. We will be at the Dubuque Farmers Market tomorrow from 7-12 near the Market Booth by Iowa and 12thSt. Stop by and say HI, grab some greens, eggs and freeze dried treats.

Inspired by a desire for a family business that not only has sustainability as its mission, but gives back to the community, Sean and Korrin Schriver began the journey that is ReEvolution Farms. The model for ReEvolution Farms was sparked by The Market Gardener, a book which describes gardening methods employed by Jean-Martin Fortier. The guidelines for successful, small-scale farming outlined in this book inspired the dream that is ReEvolution farms. The farm will begin in the soil, but evolve to host hydroponic and aquaponic systems, housed in on-site greenhouses. Though the farm is currently in its infancy, dreams of a model for sustainable agriculture are always on the horizon.
