So much gratitude goes out to Preston Jorgenson for his amazing support with not only helping to rescue Mouse from the mountain, but also for providing a safe space for him to reside during his initial recovery after coming off of the mountain.

Preston has been a big part of Mouse’s story and journey for the past year or so.

Now, after spending several months regaining his some of his strength in Dubois, it has come time to move Mouse to some greener pasture to continue his healing journey.

Hey there! We've been quiet on this page, but this was not because Mouse’s story stopped… but because his initial recovery needed a little space and time.

After surviving since August alone in the mountains, Mouse has been slowly gaining a little weight at a time, restoring his strength, and remembering how to feel at ease and safe.

And now it finally feels like the right time to share his journey with you again.

Over the coming days, I’ll be sharing pieces of his story, from the mountain to where he is today.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring him home.

His story truly belongs to a village. ❤️🐴
