Welcome to the program you good looking sucker! This is 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗖𝗗 by 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗗 and out of a 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗴𝘂𝗻 mare. This 2023 grey gelding is 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 and just has “it”. He belongs to Todd Mathis of Queen Creek, Arizona.

One of the best things about Trent Ward Saddlery is that they can customize a handmade saddle specifically for your horse from tree up. This week it rained some so we hauled to Fort Worth where the guys were set up for the USTRC Finals. They were able to find the perfect fit “The Queen”. Hit these guys up. Rain is coming down so it’s a good time to get some horses worked on. Thanks Austin Stidham for getting them right this morning. If they aren’t feeling good for the most part they aren’t going to work good. Pay attention to the details. They matter.

Also a big shoutout to our friends Healthycoat for keeping them all looking so good. Major looks incredible right here.

One of the biggest things you can do in your horsemanship journey is surround yourself with great people. Trainers with good attitudes that still love what they do, trainers that still strive to be better everyday. Men and women that have both the knowledge to do it and the integrity to carry it out daily. I could name a list of people who helped grow me over the years. Some of those people spoke into my life and showed me specific things while others just let me work beside them. Being able to see what they did and how they did it motivated and encouraged me. You’ve heard it a million times but it’s a biblical principal…iron sharpens iron.

Confidence is everything on these 3 year olds.Smooth quiet runs and letting them enjoy their job is key. This mare gets a day or two a week without a tie down away from roping doing something different whether it’s on the barrel pattern with Taylor or just working on softness overall. She’s such a fun one.
