And please, please, please put a collar with identification, phone number and name. Did you know July 5th is THE busiest day for shelters? Even if you think your dog won’t bolt, it is a strong possibility it will. The flashing, shooting, booms will send them searching for safety. Be proactive, keep your dog secured inside, not on a leash or in your lap during the festivities. Don’t end your day with heartbreak.
