We had to have her put down. This is our last photo of her alive. She was so weak and fragile. She didn't even want to lift her head.
We'll miss her, but she was so sick and so miserable. Now she's no longer in pain, and she's no longer sick.

Back to the vet with Primrose. She was holding her head to the left and wouldn't move it, she was walking in a circle and falling all over herself, so I rushed her to the vet.

Update on little Miss Primrose:
I took her to the vet today, just for a weight. She gained 2oz! That's great news! The wet food (I hesitate to call it "canned" because it came in a pouch, but "pouch food" sounds weird) was definitely the right call. Troy got her some beef liver, which smells awful, but she loves it! She has a checkup on Tuesday, so I'll update you again afterwards.

After thinking about it long and hard, we've decided to not let Daisy or Iris have litters this fall. We had SO many puppies last time, and they're SO much work, we've decided to take a break. To everyone we told we'd have puppies this fall: I'm sorry. We just need a break. Our next puppies should be in early spring.

Primrose absolutely horked down that pouch of food! So that's good. She's been up and walking around, so that's good! Praise God she's doing so much better!

The vet called. Primrose has dangerously low blood sugar. Which we have been trying desperately to avoid. She sleeps all daggon day, and we have to wake her up to be sure she eats. Apparently, she hasn't been eating enough. While she was at Josh and Sasha's, I was actually about to go out and buy her canned puppy food, because that's softer, more fragrant, and more flavorful. They tend to eat more with canned. But I didn't get a chance because Sasha brought her back, and she was all lethargic.
So I took her to the vet, and immediately he noticed her temperature was low and her glucose was low. So he put her on a heating pad and gave her an IV of glucose. She's not out of the woods yet, but she is acting better. Not good... just better.
Please continue to pray for her.
Also, let this serve as a reminder to make sure your puppies get enough to eat. Their blood sugar can drop quickly, with no warning at all. She was fine yesterday, and today she's being monitored at the vet.

Please pray for Primrose. I dropped her off at the vet this morning.
Edit: It was NOT the flea treatment. This just happened to happen at a similar time.
