🎃🐴 HALLOWEEN RECAP AT LOVESOME STABLES! 👻🍁

Who knew decorating pumpkins could be so much fun AND therapeutic?

Our riders got into the Halloween spirit by creating their very own pumpkin characters: choosing eyes, ears, arms, hats, feet, and noses all while on horseback! Fun while skill-building!

🐴 BALANCE – Staying steady while reaching and moving.

💪 CORE STRENGTH – Engaging muscles to maintain posture.

🧠 DECISION-MAKING – Making creative choices and bringing their pumpkin characters to life!

And, of course, no Lovesome Halloween would be complete without one of our favorite traditions, a spooky haunted story created by one of our talented riders! 👻📖

At Lovesome, therapy doesn't always look like therapy. Sometimes it looks like Halloween fun! 🧡🐴

🐴🍂 PASTURE DAYS ARE RUNNING OUT!

Grass is disappearing, but the needs of our therapy horses aren’t, and they will soon depend entirely on hay and grain to get them through the winter.

💚 We've raised $13,375 of our $18,000 goal! Just $4,625 to go!

TIME IS RUNNING OUT. Our Campaign ends November 15! Will you help us cross the finish line?

In case you missed last Saturday’s Horse Show, here are a few highlights from an incredible day celebrating our amazing riders! 💚🐴

The Horse Show is their chance to shine showcasing how far they’ve come and celebrate every milestone along the way. Their progress, perseverance, courage, and accomplishments make us incredibly proud.

Way to go, riders! You were the stars of the show! 🌟🐴💚

🐴💚 CAMPAIGN UPDATE: WE’VE RAISED $10,850! 💚🐴

We’re making great progress toward our $18,000 goal, but there’s still work to do! Our Buy a Bale or Bag campaign ends November 15, giving us just one month left to reach our goal.

❄️ Why is your support so important? Winter is the most costly time of year to feed our herd. With little to no pasture available for grazing, our horses depend entirely on the hay and grain we provide to keep them healthy, happy, and ready to serve our riders.

💚 Lovesome operates solely on donations, sponsorships, and grants. Every contribution makes a difference in helping us care for our horses and keep our organization thriving for the riders who depend on them.

Can you help us cross the finish line? Donate today and help keep our herd fed through the winter!🙏

This special day is all about celebrating our amazing riders and showcasing just how far they’ve come. 💚 Their progress, perseverance, and accomplishments deserve to be celebrated!

📅 October 17 | 9 AM – 1 PM

Come cheer on our riders, meet the herd, and see the magic of Lovesome in action! We’d love to see you there! 💕🐴

Lovesome's WHY: Because the horse is the therapy partner. 🐴❤️

Research in equine-assisted activities has shown that a horse’s rhythmic movement, warmth, and responsive interaction can engage the nervous system in ways that support regulation, attention, balance, and emotional well-being.

As riders move with the horse, they’re not just riding, they’re developing:

✨ Balance, posture & core strength
✨ Motor skills & coordination
✨ Emotional regulation
✨ Confidence & self-esteem
✨ Communication & trust

At Lovesome, the human-horse connection helps people grow stronger physically, emotionally, and mentally.

That’s why we need the horses. They’re not just part of the program - THEY ARE THE HEART. ❤️🐴
