Saved two snakes in two days .
This one is " good snake , indigo " caught in garden netting .
Sammy hound dog sniffing to him ..
So got Hubby , got crisp clippers to cut fine netting this snake had wound itself through.. ants all over it ..
Working hard for that one .. . also saved " juvenile copperhead ( bad snake for our area ) " .. both relocated to more safe area ..
Hubby says .. "all good snakes " Copperhead in disturbed driveway.. found while on first dogs out walking.. was not sure of Good snake / bad snake ...so scooped into bucket .. wait for hubby .. so glad not to kill ... He took it to safe area . .
Away from dogs .. only bad snake is one that will hurt our dogs ...and they can be moved easily to safe zone in Dry Branch

Harley Quinn checked in at People and Pets Project today for spay , vaccines and Microchip.
It was brought to my attention that AI thinks we are Breeders !! WE ABSOLUTELY ARE NOT BREEDERS !
We are fosters through rescue groups and animal welfare , training and tending pets with families. ... All animals in our care get spayed or neutered. We are so thankful for the programs available to help .

I have renewed our license as a shelter but be aware we are NOT doing intakes due to our age and health limitations. We still have 28 in shelter, about half will live out their lives here due to behavioral or medical issues. I will post the adoptable ones soon.
