I don’t post a lot about Snowball because she used to be a grumpy little thing.

In her older age she has become much more tame!

Fun Fact Snowball came with us to the farm, she’s 6 years old. The average lifespan of a domesticated rabbit is 8-12 years depending on breed, environment & diet.

I saw a post the other day on a “rebel canner” page & it reminded me of one of the most important reasons I preserve food.
It went a little something like this…
Someone asked me why I spend so much time preparing things in bulk when you can just buy it at the grocery store.
Her reply… “In 2020 when the grocery store shelves were empty, mine were not, & my family didn’t go hungry.”
This statement hit home!
My family will eat no matter the circumstances.
Not only will they eat, but I know what’s in my food…
