Hill Country Kennels Hill Country Kennels is dedicated to preserving and improving the integrity of the Presa Canario.

Hill Country Kennels is owned by Elisha and Matt Spanton and is nestled in beautiful Dripping Springs Texas, Just west of Austin. Originally we started in Northern Illinois but in 2014 moved to Texas for better weather and lifestyle for both us and the dogs. We are a small focused presa canario enthusiast where each dog is our household pet and we have a great devotion to the each and every dog we show. Its our goal to bring correct, impressive examples of the breed to our industry.

We haven’t bred at HCK lately for many reasons but we’re closing the doors. I recently had a heart attack and followed by major quadruple bypass surgery. The road to recovery is difficult and I can’t spend time w the dogs like the deserve. This would be a great way for a young kennel to get an awesome jump start with buying proven dogs. I will have to have your kennels vetted. Our dogs get top care and attention and they will continue where they go.
