The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking for a passionate, outgoing, and outdoor-loving person for a 4-to-5-month seasonal position at the Elk Country Visitor Center in Benezette.

As a representative of the Game Commission, you will have the opportunity to

• Represent the mission and values of the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
• Welcome and engage with guests at the visitor center.
• Lead fun and educational programs for all age groups.
• Interpret exhibits and wildlife sightings.

The hours are Friday-Tuesday, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. 40 hours per week, up to 749 hours. The anticipated start date is early to mid-July, and the hourly rate is $16.74.

The selected person must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and pass a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (paid for by the Game Commission).

Scott Dimmit brought down a behemoth in Zone 6 that raw scored 409 inches during the regular season in 2024. This giant was ranging between Zone 6 and Zone 2, part of a bachelor group that has produced some outstanding bulls.
