Misty Hinkle Rose, Bristol needs a sister! (Almost a twin sister:) )

Hello, world! Meet Penelope (aka Penn)!! This gorgeous poodle mix is 1 year old and about 30 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. She is a skinny girl who came in very underweight so we expect her to continue to gain. She arrived at her fosters terrified and extremely skittish. She is ready for a family that is going to spoil her like shes become accustomed to!

Penn is still skittish but has made significant progress since we first met her. She is curious about everything but takes a while to warm up. Penn needs a family that is willing to be patient with her while she adjusts.

Her ideal family must have a physical fence because she would lay in the sun all day if you let her. She LOVES the outdoors! She even throws herself toys and can remain content playing solo for hours at a time.

Penn is still a puppy, so you can expect to need to keep all shoes, socks, boxes, etc out of her reach as she would love to chew on all of that 😂 She is GREAT on a leash, LOVES walks! Shes perfect with her three foster dog siblings but would be ok in a home with no other dogs too. Not cat tested. Penn has slowly started to let us pet her and even hold her sometimes but she isnt a super human cuddly girl and may or may not ever be! She loves to lay directly on top of the other dogs in the house and constantly wants to play with them. She is potty trained as long as let out on a regular schedule and must be crated when you leave to run errands or shell get into mischief. She is crate trained and sleeps great all night in hers. Being that shes a puppy she cant be left alone for a whole work day in the crate. She would do best in a home where at least one of her people works part time or is a work at home.

Richard Cullins, 83, of Dresden, passed away, Friday afternoon, October 25, 2024. Born June 28, 1941, in Dresden a son of the late George Willard Bill and Margaret Carr Cullins and a 1959 graduate of Jefferson High School. Richard retired after 36 years as a bus driver with Tri-Valley Schools
