Nothing prettier than a paint in fall 🍂

A founding member of Fennel Farm, Star was adopted from Last Chance Ranch in November 2022 and turned 23 this year! 🌟 He is beloved by us and anyone who has had the privilege of meeting him. In addition to being our family horse, he is also a farm camp favorite and doting beginner lesson horse. Star is truly a Good Boy that loves attention, carrots 🥕, and being with his friends.

We're so lucky to have him! 🍀

Thank you J.W stalls LLC for coming out to w**d wack our fence lines and fix up broken tape, insulators, etc!

Fence maintenance is a headache. Horses are constantly testing/breaking the tape (even when the electric fence is on), snapping insulators, kicking boards -- you name it.

Posts wear out and need to be replaced. Trees fall and demolish an entire fence line. Gates pop off the hinges.

While we address the issues the best we can as they happen, we have James come out every spring 🌷 and fall 🍂 to walk every inch of fenceline and repair/replace anything that looks at all questionable.

Every year, just fence repair and maintenance costs anywhere from $2,000 - $2,500 (WITHOUT putting in new fencing, grass seed, etc).

Another cost to factor in when running a barn!
