Do I let people pet my dog in public? Yes but I have boundaries. They are clear to the dog. Not always yo the humans I run into.

So many dog owners I meet, have really challenging situations and have no idea where to start. They are often overwhelmed with conflicting information and don’t know who’s right and who’s wrong.
I see all sides of the training tools debate. There are definitely dogs being abused by people with the same tools I often use. But that tells me a lot about the person not the tool. I believe intent matters and a gun can feed you or kill you depending on the intent behind the tool.

The e collar should be the final step, when the dog is ready. It’s a tool used to shape what the dog already knows. Primarily in new environments, around heavy distractions, and of course off leash.
The ultimate goal is off leash freedom, and this a TEMPORARY bridge to accomplish those goals.

Aggressive dogs often operate out of fear. Deli came in showing teeth and afraid of his shadow.
Today he is an active member of my doggy day care Upstate Dog Academy, Greenville SC LLC.
Puppy foundations, obedience training, and yes behavior modification are all part of what it means to be the
