Stay warm and safe, neighbors! While the winter storm rolls through, things are getting a little "wild" (and very cozy) here at Marcy’s Maltis.
We believe every creature deserves a warm place to wait out the freeze. We have officially opened our doors as a temporary safe haven for some unique neighbors. Our "reptile room" is currently at full capacity, housing 9 terrariums to ensure everyone stays at the perfect temperature!
❄️ Our Winter Guests Include:
* The Scaly Crew: 3 Leopard Geckos, 3 Bearded Dragons, and 1 Crested Gecko.
* The Slither Squad: 2 Ball Pythons and 1 King Snake.
* The Small & Mighty: 2 Tree Frogs, 1 Mexican Tarantula, and 1 Scorpion.
🐾 Special Foster Shoutout
In addition to our cold-blooded friends, we are so happy to be fostering two sweet cats from the Union Parish Humane Society to keep them out of the cold.
We are hunkering down, keeping the heat on, and making sure all these guys are fed and happy until the sun comes back out. Please stay off the roads if you can, and keep your pets (no matter how many legs they have!) tucked in warm with you.
