Sapphire has been challenged with some brain sweat. She has been doing so, so, so, so GOOD!!!

We have limits with her back leg, so we groom, we stand ties, we lift up hoofs, we tack up with a saddle pad, we work on personal space and she gets to see what vehicles are and that they wont hurt her.

She also gets to graze on the fresh grass during stall cleanings ⭐️

Baby sapphire is making progress on her ground manners. She is so smart! She sees the halter and puts her nose into it, she backs and yields on command. Stood for farrier like a dream ✨

We are reevaluating her leg, she is bearing weight but it’s not in a natural position for healing. We are going to more than likely splint/air cast it and evaluate again in a few weeks. She’s still on complete stall rest with turnout/tie out while we clean stalls. She is learning to be hard tied and what patients is. She’s doing great.

She is one smart baby! Very willing and very smart. Desensitization is in progress. Many lessons to learn for this girl but she’s doing great thus far.
