BIG NEWS ‼️🚨

Up for adoption Baby Koda. He’s 2 years old this year, gentled Mustang cross. He will mature to about 14.3-15 hands. He’s a very good boy, super sweet and halter broke. He loves to be groomed, and loved on. He’s going to make an awesome horse for someone or kids once broke. He will be a project as he has not be started under the saddle but has a wonderful attitude. Hoping for big things for this little man.

He was gelded last month, recovered wonderfully but, only one testicle dropped and removed. Other is either non existent or lodged in. No medical complications but could be fertile, would need blood test done to confirm if sterile. Just want to make buyers aware of mares are in same pastures.

BIG NEWS‼️🚨

Up for adoption…..Zephry he’s 3 years old this year. He needs to be finished under saddle. He’s halter broke and very gentle. He’s a fancy mover, super smooth . He will make an awesome trail horse. Up to date on hoofs and worming. He has a past injury to his hind leg but sound to ride and finish how you want.

We also welcome Romeo. We have wanted him for a long time and when Kristina at Kellog posted him for foster I knew he needed to be here with our other blind equines!

My husband fell in love with this boy when we went out there last fall. He’s huge and mighty handsome!!! He’s adjusted well and we put our daughter’s POA Blue Jean in there with him to keep him company. For them both being blind, they have really taken to one another. They bump into each other sometimes but Romeos nerves have settled having a friend! 💙

They will have a larger area this week as we get more panels. Romeo and Blue Jean need different fencing because they don’t stay in the polyrope as we do not have it “hot” in our special needs pasture because of their disabilities (one eye, moon blindness, etc) we don’t believe electric power is an appropriate option as they can not see their boundaries. Electric shock to them would be startling and not their fault.

We have to make adjustments based on the special needs of our equines to keep them safe and happy. With this, we welcome donations of panels for situations like these. All donations are 💯 tax deductible. Pm me for details and donation receipts to present at tax time.

Welcome Katy Kay a registered 18 year old paint whos mom passed away. Original owner is 87 and surrendered her so she wasn’t lonely. She needs her hoofs trimmed badly but she is a total sweet pea. Loves people and very willing attitude. For not trailering in years she was fantastic! A little pressure on her rear did the trick.

Fawn a 25 year old standardbred quarter horse cross. She was surrendered from her owner which was very difficult since she’s had her on the farm since birth. Health issues struck and her help has decided to join the military. With her condition she can not keep up with the farm chores. It’s a tough decision but, Fawn is in great hands here with us! She is very curious but can be nippy if not familiar with her people. She has been wonderful so far no issues with biting at all. She knows she’s safe and we give her love and affection when she initiates it. She also trailered well for not having done it in a while. Did some loping and pushing her hindquarters and moving her backwards to let her know I was the one in charge and gaining her confidence in me.

Both girls are best friends already! They made the travel together and have bonded this weekend! They chase each other around playfully and have just been hanging out checking out the scenery. 🌲 🌳

Both are beautiful mares with wonderful personalities 💜

Both will be residing here on the farm. With some work and effort I plan to get these girls back into shape and rideable. I have no doubt they will be amazing in the arena and on trails!

More posts… projects never end here! The outcome is so worth it in the end. Thank you to our adopters and supporters the funds go straight to the rescue for repairs, new materials, grain, fuel, hay. Donations allow us to continue to expand and make our rescue more adaptable and ensure a safe environment for our equines!

A new adventure for us today. We went to Durand, Mi to pick up two cows 🐮 their family decided they need more room to be cows! As you all know these farm animals are not easy nor cheap to care for. We decided to take them home with us to give them a good home. They are only 2 years old.

Clyde a black angus is still a bull but has a bone disease which has caused stunted growth in his front legs. He is lazy, he lays and eats and rests a lot since it’s hard for him to get around.

Rebel is a Jersey he’s spunky! He will fit in great. He gave me a few licks when we got there to pick them up. He sure is cute 🐮
