Reactive Rover and Intro to competitive obedience are making another round at Paws to Train in Gonic starting next Wednesday September 5!!! We had lots of fun last session!!! Please join us!!!! Reactive Rover is for dog who struggle with proper etiquette while passing other dogs, wheeled objects, strangers etc. They will learn self control, command compliance ( doing the command whenever and wherever) and will learn to handle their emotional responses better. You will learn to better read your dog and will gain confidence in learning this!!!!
Intro to competitive obedience is for all levels, but we are specifically working on drive and engagement! Teaching the handler and dog to love the sport!!!! Foundational pieces from each level will be taught. This breakdown of exercises will help the novice build a solid skill set, and the experienced competitor can address and strengthen any weak areas. Cost is $150 for 6 weeks. Reactive Rover starts at 5 pm, Intro to competitive obedience at 6 PM. Message or call 603-978-8484 for details!!

Introduction to competitive obedience
6 weeks- $150 beginning Wednesday at 6 PM on September 5.
Are you Looking to improve the relationship with your dog?? Are you interested in teaching him more complex behaviors like retrieving items, taking direction, and keeping attention under distraction? Would you like a more solid stay and recall?? Then competitive obedience could be the sport for you! This sport focuses on teamwork!!! In this introductory class you will be taught a sampling of the obedience exercises ( retrieves, heeling, stays, recalls, attention) using FUN, MOTIVATIONAL methods! This class can be used for the student who is looking to compete but wants to gain more attitude from their dog, or for the new student looking to check out a new sport, or for anyone who enjoys working with their dog and strengthening that bond!!! The focus will be on the relationship!!!

Reactive Rover- 6 weekly 1-hour classes beginning at 5 PM Wednesday September 5.
Does your dog bark, pull, jump and lunge at other dogs while on-leash? Do you want to take a training class or just enjoy your walks but can't because of your dog's behavior? Are you ready for solutions? In Reactive Rover we will work in a small-group with a highly structured environment.
Reactive Rover will give you positive techniques to prevent your dog's over-reactive behaviors while helping him to relax, focus on you, and learn from you. You will decrease stress and increase enjoyment for both you and your dog. The overall goal of this class is to have your dog behave politely and calmly around other on-leash dogs. Please bring a mat or raised bed, and lots of Soft high value treats . Class is limited to 5 dogs to encourage safety and success. This class is not intended for dogs with human aggression issues.
