🐾 We’ve been seeing lots of new furry faces around the hospital lately and we’re loving every wag, wiggle, and woof! One of our recent visitors was the adorable Louie the Basset Hound, and we couldn’t get enough of those floppy ears and sweet eyes! 🐶💚

If you’re bringing your puppy in for their first visit, here’s what to expect:

Milo’s Limp Led to a Bigger Discovery

What started as a mild limp in Milo’s left hind leg didn’t seem like much at first—it even got better with some rest. But over time, his limp returned and gradually worsened.

After a thorough exam and radiographs, we discovered that Milo had a partially torn cruciate ligament in his left stifle (knee)—a common injury, especially in active or aging dogs.

He was referred to BluePearl for surgery to repair his knee, and he’s now on the road to recovery with the help of laser therapy right here at our hospital!

Laser therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that helps:
✨ Reduce inflammation
✨ Increase blood flow to the healing area
✨ Improve comfort and mobility during recovery

We’re so proud of Milo and how well he’s doing! If your pet ever shows signs of limping, even if it seems minor—don’t wait. Early diagnostics and supportive care can make all the difference!
