Let me put you on to my secret 🤫
My pupper Loki has TONS of stomach, intestinal, and digestive issues since we got him as a puppy! I do everything in my power to provide him a great quality of life but thats all starts with his DIET! And BOY does he love his cookies 🐶❤️

I have tried MANY of the store bought treats from the least expensive to the most expensive and 99.9% of the time he ends up with an upset tummy and diarrhea. Then I started brainstorming ideas and I will make it easy for you in my simple BBF plan!

BOIL 🐶 BLEND 🐶 FREEZE

I go to my local food market and buy; squash, pumpkin, carrots, Greek yogurt, strawberries, and blueberries.

I make it different everytime - whether I want to layer then freeze and layer something else or I’ll blend two veggies together, like carrots and butternut squash. Once I have my blend (make sure to strain your veggies before blending), I put them in an ice try and freeze over night!

I promise your fur babies will love them, it is also something that can work on licking and chewing - like enriching them and making them work for it - it’s ✨STIMULATING✨.

FUN FACT: sweet potato is very good for the gut 😉

WHY I BELIEVE HOMECOOKED DOG FOOD IS BETTER NUTRITION-WISE AND COST EFFECTIVE?

Let’s do some math!

With about 7lbs of meat mixed with rice, lentils, veggies, and quinoa - I made about 6 weeks worth of food. You may be asking “HOW!?”.

Well for my 35lb active Boston Terrier we feed him about 1/2 cup of fresh dog food 2 times a day and per his vet he also gets 1 cup of his sensitive skin and coat dry food! As much as I want to get him off the dry fully, he needs the additional nutrients that help him digest food normally and help his coat stay BEAUTIFUL!

But your typical 13 oz can of store bought dogs food is about - $3-$4. If my dog were to eat a full can a day (1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at night) I will be spending $20-$30 a week - ❌$120 a month!!❌

Now let me put you on to my secret! 📋

➕85%/15% ground beef will be a bit more expensive but your looking at $15-$20 per 2 lb!
➕80%/20% ground beef will be about $12-$16 per 2lbs!

I buy about 5-7lb of beef and sometimes ground beef is on reduced price at your local ShopRite! Today is spent $25 on 7lb of ground beef!

Every else can be found in your pantry!
➕lentils: $1-$2 at shoprite
➕carrots
➕UNSALTED peas
➕rice
❌quinoa is a more expensive grain option but I rather use it.
➕sweat potato
➕butternut squash

My second stop of the day was a visit to Miss Demi and Miss Teddy, my favorite duo! 🐾🐈🐈‍⬛

These two require a precise feeding schedule, including additives and automatic feeders. Fortunately, their owner provides meticulous instructions, enabling me to meet her expectations.

Today, we paid a visit to Miss Cleopatra 🐾, whose parents are going away to tie the knot! 💒❤️ However, they need a reliable caregiver for this charming baby girl! Cleo adheres to a strict schedule and can't afford to stray from it, which is why Val's Valued Pet Care is the perfect fit. My responsibilities include feeding, litter box maintenance, and ample time for cuddles and play.

✨ Hello Everyone – Happy Monday! 💟

Please meet Demi and Teddy 🐱🐾

These two precious kitties are long-time repeat clients of mine, and it’s always such a joy to care for them every chance I get! With Demi, you get all the calico sass and s***k, while Teddy brings a touch of shyness. But don’t be fooled—Teddy definitely knows how to tear up the litter box 🤣.

That’s why their pet parent leaves me very clear instructions on feeding and medication, so Teddy’s tummy feels happy and her potty time is a little more pleasant (for her and everyone else!).

I truly love receiving detailed instructions—it helps me give the best care possible for each pet, ensuring I always meet (and hopefully exceed!) expectations.
