Dogs needed for EXCITING Clinical Study! This study helps us screen for lymphoma as an early detection process!

Animals that can be entered into the study:
Dogs of any s*x presenting for a wellness visit that will include submission of Wellness Bloodwork. Dogs can have chronic disease conditions as long as they
are controlled/stable at the time of the wellness visit. Dog must be at least 7 years old to enroll, except
if they belong to a breed at risk for cancer.

Animals that cannot be entered into the study (exclusion criteria):
• Dogs presenting for acute illness or that have signs of systemic illness
• Dogs with history of lymphoma, other cancer in the past year, or any cancer that is
currently undergoing treatment

• Dogs that have received oral or injectable corticosteroids or other
immunosuppressants (eg. mycophenolate mofetil, cyclosporine, azathioprine,

• Dogs younger than 7 years, or 4 years for the above listed breeds.
• Note: Dogs currently on Zenrelia are NOT allowed to enroll in the study (but dogs
receiving Apoquel are allowed to enroll).

It’s National Hug Your Cat Day! It’s a day to show extra affection and appreciation to your feline companions, whether through cuddling, playtime, or simply spending extra time together!!

Here is how we hope you celebrate!
•Give your cat extra attention:
Spend more time playing with them, offering treats, or simply snuggling up together.
•Pamper your cat:
Brush their fur, give them a massage, or create a cozy and comfortable space for them.
•Consider donating to a shelter or rescue group:
If you can’t celebrate at home, consider donating to a local shelter or rescue group in your cat’s honor. is a wonderful organization in Georgia helping cats in many counties!
•Reflect on the positive impact of your cat:
National Hug Your Cat Day is also a good time to appreciate the many benefits of cat ownership, such as reduced stress and lower blood pressure!

It’s that time of year again 💔 PLEASE be mindful of the temperature, humidity and your dogs ability to withstand exercise. Heat strokes can still happen on cloudy days if the humidity and temperature are still elevated!

BLADDER STONES! Did you know that dogs and cats can develop kidney and bladder stones? If your pet has issues with incontinence, straining or inability to urinate, you should have them looked at ASAP! This is a huge red flag 🚩 that something is wrong!
